I want to add a line on top of a stacked bar chart. Is there a straight
forward way to do this? |

I presume you mean a column chart (vertical bars). Copy the data, select the
chart, use Edit menu Paste Special to add the data as a new series. This adds the series as another bar on the stack. Select the new series, go to Chart menu Chart Type, and choose a line type.
