In 2007 you don't need to copy a chart from Excel, just start in Word by
choosing Insert, Chart and when you pick a chart type and click OK you will be constructing the chart in Excel but it will placed in Word at full resolution, no copy and paste necessary. Cheers, Shane Devenshire Microsoft Excel MVP "Pamelado" wrote in message ... Do you know how to 'see' the resolution of a chart in Excel? I figured out how to 'compress' a chart, pasted as a picture, but the compression is reducing the resolution and the highest choice in Word is 220 dpi. thank you for any insight you can provide. I just want 300 dpi charts. Try the various Copy as Picture options to see which works best for you. - Mike http://www.MikeMiddleton.com "Vegas" wrote in message ... This seems like it should be simple!! Why is half of my pie chart disappearing when I try to paste it from excel to word? I have no idea of what is going on. Any ideas? Thanks! |
