As soon as I draw an object in my chart and click off it, it vanishes. I
know there was someone else with this same problem and it sort of resolved itself when she re-booted. This has been going on for me for months and I reboot every day. I go to Format Autoshape and it appears as if White is selected in the Fill and Line color boxes. I change that to a different color (e.g. blue) but as soon as I select that color and the color selection box collapses again, it shows white again. When I click on the drop down arrow to reselect the color, it shows that the color is already selected (e.g. blue) but still does not appear for me. The shape remains invisible, yet knowing where it is, I can click on it. I'd really like to be able to see my objects! Any ideas? KLV |

In Windows, click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility Options |
Display tab | uncheck the "Use high contrast" box | OK. KLV wrote: As soon as I draw an object in my chart and click off it, it vanishes. The box was already unchecked. Any other suggestions?

I'm having the same problem as KLV, plus charts from other people's files
will not display at all. You can see that there is an object there, but it doesn't have any color. -- LTT "garfield-n-odie [MVP]" wrote: In Windows, click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility Options | Display tab | uncheck the "Use high contrast" box | OK.
