I am trying to creat a column /line graph w/ 6 series and want only the last
one to be "on the line" . Excel keeps putting 3 series in columns and 3 on lines. Is there any way to change this behavior? Thanks Zb |

Hi,
Ignore the built-in combination graphs and create your own. Start by creating a column chart based on ALL data series. Select the last series, right click and pick Chart Type. Select Line chart you want. Cheers Andy -- Andy Pope, Microsoft MVP - Excel http://www.andypope.info "Zb Kornecki" <zDOTkorneckiATcomcastDOTnet wrote in message ... These solutions are always so simple when you know what they are. My
presentation will much better thanks to your help. I appreciate it. Zb "Andy Pope" wrote: Hi, Ignore the built-in combination graphs and create your own. Zb While the solution is simple, it is not obvious. Surely this is one of the most basic issues for mixed graphs -- it must have arisen for literally millions of users -- yet I could not find any solution in the normal Excel help files. Am I just stupid? I searched and did trial & error changes for 30 min before searched outside Excel Help and found this forum thread. What am I missing? Where/how should I have looked to easily find this solution?? Thanks, Jeff |
