Default Semi-transparent backgound

Dear all Excel users,

Is there any way to put a semi transparent background for a bar chart or any chart in excel? Any suggestion will be highly appreciable.

Thanks and regards,

Format the chart with a fully transparent background, and place it over

Dear Del,

Thanks for your reply. Can you be more specific how to make the background fully transparent, because I did not find any option in chart to do that.

With regards,
arun
