Del,
I put the space in there for clarity on this post.... I'm leaning toward having a group for each distinct line and creating a new data series for each. I'm honing in on a horizontal bar chart. I appreciate your help. "Del Cotter" wrote in message ... On Wed, 21 Mar 2007, in microsoft.public.excel.charting, Paul Ilacqua said: I'm fairly new to Charting and I have data like this.. I think you're going the right way. My pivot charts (or pivot table then chart wizard, for those like me at home who lack a version of Excel more recent than 97) was just a quick way of doing what you say, creating a column or row for each line. Doing the same thing by hand is also feasible, so that instead of: Line Week BTS 6600 1 86.67% 6810 1 58.00% 6600 2 88.29% 6810 2 83.75% You have 1 2 6600 1 86.67% 88.29% 6810 1 58.00% 83.75% -- Del Cotter NB Personal replies to this post will send email to , which goes to a spam folder-- please send your email to del3 instead. |
