Thumbs up Answer: how to enter text inside the bars on a bar chart in Excel?

Steps to enter text inside the bars on a bar chart in Excel:
  1. Create your bar chart by selecting the data you want to use and clicking on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon. Then, choose the "Bar" chart type you want to use.
  2. Once your chart is created, click on one of the bars to select it. You should see a small box appear around the bar.
  3. Right-click on the selected bar and choose "Add Data Labels" from the context menu that appears.
  4. You should now see labels appear on each of the bars in your chart. To edit the text of a label, simply click on it and start typing.
  5. If you want to format the text of your labels, you can do so by selecting the label and then using the formatting options in the "Home" tab of the ribbon.

That's it! You should now have text inside the bars on your bar chart in Excel.
