I need to create a market intelligence report that we can incorporate a
dashboard showing how leadtimes, pricing and supply has changed. We envisaged a semi circle dashboard coloured red, orange and green that we can move the dial towards indicating where we stand on each element. Is there something easy within excel that I can use |

It may be more useful to use a line chart, which not only shows the latest
value, but the trend leading up to this value. You can use stacked area series in the same chart to show the colored regions. Such a line chart takes up less room than one of these speedometer gauges, and shows a more complete picture of the data. People have been conditioned to think a dashboard chart should have lots of dial gauges, but really it should be a place where you can look at a lot of relevant information at once. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Andy Pope" wrote in message ...
