Default KPI dashboard

It may be more useful to use a line chart, which not only shows the latest
value, but the trend leading up to this value. You can use stacked area
series in the same chart to show the colored regions. Such a line chart
takes up less room than one of these speedometer gauges, and shows a more
complete picture of the data.

People have been conditioned to think a dashboard chart should have lots of
dial gauges, but really it should be a place where you can look at a lot of
relevant information at once.
