Excel Charts: Can I show standard deviation on selected series?
3D bar chart:
Column 1 has labels Column 2 has data Column 3 has calculated Standard Deviation I need to show one cell from column three as a standard deviation on one of the data items in Column 2. Can this be done? |

Bud -
You can apply custom error bars to show a different SD for each point. Double click the series, click on the Error Bars tab, click in the box next to Custom +, and select the range with SD values, then click in the Custom - box, and select this range (use two ranges for different + and - values). If you used the entire column 3, all the values in column 3 would be used, for the corresponding points in column 2.
