Default Log charts

Does 2004 allow fractional cycles on log charts? The prior version
doesn't and 2003 for Windows doesn't. I have been using Harvard Charts
on Windows to get this capability. I used to use Improv, which shows
how many years I have been waiting for this.

Hi Bob -

No, Excel hasn't incorporated this feature yet, despite pleadings by its users. If
you need this capability badly enough, you can fake it, following the Flexible Log
Scale Axis example on Tushar Mehta's web site:

I think I looked into this (or something like it) a while back and
decided it would be more work than what I was already doing.
Nevertheless, I will look into this particular approach once more.
Certainly, it is the only way to go on the Mac right now. The only
question is whether it is easier than Harvard in Windows.
