Default Get External Data

Hi,

You might try my flexfind.zip from www.bmsltd.co.uk/mvp

- Launch it, make sure you check the "objects" box.
- Now enter a search string, e.g. (part of) the filename
you used last time.
- if it finds your querytable's connection string, check
out if it contains your filename.
- Make sure you now use the entire string you want
replaced as the search string.
- enter the replacing name and highlight the querytable's
entry in the bottom listbox and choose replace.

Hi,
I am new to this group as well as MS Query.
I have successfully created a query and retrived the data

in Excel.
Now I want to change the source file of the query. Is it

possible?
This is required as I am getting a new data file every

day which
contains the reports.

Please help.
Thanks in Advance,
Shetty.
