Hi Jen

if you need to show the number of departments in several buildings that are
compliant ......
surely the number of departments is the "data"
so
...............A...............B................C. ......................D..............E
1..........Number of Compliant Departments
2...........................Jan................Feb ...................Mar..........Apr
3........Building
1......3..................5....................... .2..............8
4........Building
2......1..................0....................... .1..............1

etc

then select from A2:E4 and press F11

if this isn't what you need, what is the data you are actually counting
(summing) ie graphing?????
