Default Sorting columns

Hi Kassie,

Thanx for your reply.

I tried to select col A:Z and then click on the sort dialog box:

* OPTIONS: left to right ( on the "Sort By" gives me only rows as a
choice)
top to bottom ( gives me "Columns")

Going with either one...i end up with all my columns' rows mixed up....

May be i didn't understand what u ment...

Select Col A:Z (That's 26, isn't it?), and then sort by the column of your
choice.
Otherwise you will mix everything up. this way, if you decide to sort by
say Col W, that will happen, but each row wil remain related.

Hi,

I have about 26 columns and every column has about 50 rows with similar
values (#'s). I want to sort the columns out in groups so i know which ones
have the most similar values.

Everytime i sort them out the column's values mix up and i no longer know
which value belongs to which column.

I tried to give every column a diferent color and then sort out the every
row at a time from smallest to largest. I'm sure there is a much easier way
to sort out the the entire columns with out mixing up the values that each
one has.

Help?!
