Default Conditional formatting doesn't want to cooperate

Tell us what this means to you
=(D7/C7(-0.1)<0)

best wishes

C7 is 38,211
D7 is -2,109

D7 is conditionally formatted as follows:
Formula is: =(D7/C7(-0.1)<0)

(It should turn yellow. It doesn't)

Am I missing an operator of sorts before the last <0?

TIA for ideas.

Pierre
