Default Conditional Formatting in Excel 2007

Hi, KiwiGail,

Can't you just highlight the cells to which you want the conditional
formatting applying BEFORE you specify the formatting?

If they're non-contiguous, hold down your [Control] key while you to select
the ranges - the formatting will then be applied to all the selected cells.

Regards

Pete

Hi all

I am trying to apply conditional formatting a column of figures as follows:

If the contents of cell B1 are greater than the contents of cell A1 then
display content in Red.
If the contents of cell B1 are less than the contents of cell A1 then
display content in Blue.

That bit is easy :-) but I am having a problem applying the formatting to a
range of cells, i.e. B2:B20. Do I have to apply it to all cells individually?

Not sure how to progress so I would really appreciate a little help.

Thanks
