Default group/ungroup column/row buttons

Thanks Dave,

That did the trick. Your help is much appreciated.

I'd remove the outlining from all the data and reapply it.

Dave,

I'm having the same problem as rockhammer with a slight twist. Some of my
groups no longer have the + button whilst some continue to show the + button.
The hidden rows continue to operate as usual. I've tried the
tools/options/view/outline symbols as per your post and this hides or shows
the + button for the current visible groups but does not reactivate the
groups that are currently hidden. Any help would be appreciated as I can't
work out what I've done - this workbook has been in use for ages with no
previous problems.

Thanks in anticipation.

You know after you group colums/rows together using Data-Group &
Outline-Group, there are these +/- buttons that let you expand/collapse
those grouped columns & rows... I'm not sure what I did but those buttons are
no longer showing and the grouped columns & rows now appear as if they were
simply hidden.

How do I get those buttons to show up again? Thanks.
