Default Open CSV In One Column or Multiple Columns?

decklun,

DataText to Columns...
click Delimited option
click Next
check Comma (you might also want to uncheck all the others, but not
necessary)
click Next (or Finish)
check other setting on next sheet
click Finished

I have Excel 2003, and when I open a CSV file, all of the data is in column
A. However, there is another user that opens a CSV file, and instead of
the
data appearing in column A, Excel puts the data into the respective
columns
(knowing that the comma separates the fields).

We have experimented with data import, wizards, and open, and no matter
what, even though we both follow each step exactly the same, I always have
the data in column A, and the user gets the data in mutiple columns.

I have checked both of our computer settings - start, control
panel,regional
& lang options, regional options, customize - and we both have comma in the
list separator box.

I am trying to figure out how I can get a consistant result, or to know
how
to control the result. Anyone know?
