Default SAVING A FILE TO DISC

First off using all caps is the equivalent of shouting in text. Yes you
can protect and set read-only on a COPY of the file and then put THAT
file on the disc. Be aware the read-only and protection CAN be broken by
a determined individual.

I WANT TO COPY AN EXCEL FILE TO DISC TO SEND TO A CUSTOMER. I WANT THIS TO
BE PROTECTED SO THE CUSTOMER CANNOT CHANGE ANY INFORMATION, BUT I DON'T WANT
MY ORIGINAL FILE TO BE PROTECTED. CAN I DO THIS SO IT IS ONLY PROTECTED ON
THE DISC?
