It was intended as an insulting remark aimed at your spelling of the word
"spelt" and your ability to check the childrens' work.

I apologize for that and have been set straight about variants in spelling and
grammar internationally.

In future I will attempt to refrain from making remarks of that nature.

But we've got enough confusion in Excel usage over different date formats,
without getting into an argument over spelling. :-)
