Default Excel 2003 Addition Formula

A far as I know, entering 2+2 will show in the cell as just that in all
versions. All formula's have to start with an '='. Did you have some add-in
that did what you describe? I used 2000 for a while and it never did that.
Regards,
Alan.

Hello. In Excel 2000, if I entered 2+2 in a cell and hit the Insert
Function
button, it inserted the the arithmetic operator as an equal sign. How do
I
do this in Excel 2003? Thanks.
