I have a spreadsheet that I am able to search (FIND) a given value just fine.
Once I protect the sheet the find no longer works. The message returned is
"Microsoft Office Excel cannot find the data you're searching for"

Note: The spreadsheet is partially protected. The value I am searching for
is in the unprotected area.
