Default How can I put a horizontal line in the middle of a cell?

Pop open the Drawing Toolbar from ViewToolbars.

Draw the line across the cell.

OR

FormatCellsNumberCustom

@*-

Enter a hyphen(dash) and you will see -------------- across the cell.

I want to put a line at the bottom of a column of figures before the sum, but

gridlines. I'm using Excel 2003
