Default How do i extract the total editing time?

Main reason is because it is in MS Word;
a lot of the property fields are not updated by Excel.

Maybe MS is going to start to keep track of this property someday?

I don't have any insight why it appears there.

Dave,

thanks for the quick reply! What i'm wondering now is why then does the
field "Editing time" show up in the file properties dialog box? It must be
there for a reason?!?

It's a property that some programs in Office keep track of--excel isn't one of
them.

In the properties dialog box of a Excel file, there is a field for the "Total
Editing time" of the file but i find it is always blank. Is there a way to
extract that information on to turn the field on?
