Default Clearing unwanted or historical entries from header/footer dropdow

using Excel 2003

I'm trying to clear all the historical information listed under the drop-down
header and footer buttons. Is there a fast easy (or any) way of doing this?
Clearing the custom headers doesn't do it. The info seems to be associated
with the computer at the application or user level.

The information in the drop-down must be stored perhaps in a location such
as Documents and Settings\Owner\Application\Data\Microsoft\Excel, which is
where Excel stores the custom chart format that can be created; or maybe even
in the registry. (Owner just happens to be my user ID - yours might be
different)

Does anyone have any info or ideas?
