Currency Symbol
Hi there,
How can I change the currecny symbol in Excell. It stays on $ and I need it to be R. I have changed the setting in Control Panel in Regional Settings to South Africa. There the R is displayed as the Currency symbol. I will really appreciate your help. -- Regards, Deon H |

Hi Deon,
What operating system and what version of Excel (that's Excell to you). If you look at format, custom, number there is R Afrikaans there is R English (South Africa) I expect that you would have to change existing usage manually. You might also lose some choices of formats with parens for negative numbers. "Deon" wrote in message 40.158... Hi there, How can I change the currecny symbol in Excell.
