Default DB (depreciation) function Help question

Please go to Remarks sections under the Help for this function. Rate =
1-((salvage/cost)^(1/life)). What does the "^" mean?

Hi,

The ^ sign means 'to the power of'. For eg 2^5 is 2 to the power of 5
which is 32.
