Protect Hidden Columns
I have a spreadsheet that includes a hidden column and it's protected. My
problem is if someone copies and pastes it to another book, you can open the hidden column. How can this be avoided? I cannot PDF since it's in a public folder and another user has the password to make changes in the hidden column. Thanks, -- Denise |

Protect Hidden Columns
I don't think that you'll find a way to protect that top secret info in excel.
Excel's protection is really made for stopping users from overwriting cells that contain formulas. That worksheet protection is easily broken. So my recommendation is that if you don't want others to see the data, don't put it in excel. Or don't share that workbook with others.
