Default column display, letters or numbers

I am using excel 2007, i found an answer but in an earlier version of excel
Some how my column identifier changed from letters to numbers and i dont know
how to change it back

Office button (colourful circle in top left)
Excel options (at bottom of dialog)
Formula tab (second item in left panel)
Uncheck the box "R1C1 reference style" (first item in "Working with
formulas")
