Default how to NOT print an empty cell when I merge to Word doc?

Merging Excel sprdsht to Word Doc using Office Prof 2003. In previous
versions, there was option to "not print (or show) empty cells" when merging.
I cannot remember how to do it. Some names on spreadsheet have middle names,
some do not. I do not want spaces in place of initials for those names that
are without.
HELP!
