Default charting a filtered list

is it possible to chart a list that has been filtered via autofilter? my
chart shows all data; even from the rows that the filter has hidden.

Default charting a filtered list

In xl2003:

Select the chart
Tools|Options|Chart tab
Check the "Plot visible cells only" box

Select the chart
Click on the "Select Data" option in the Data section of the chart tools ribbon.
Click on the "Hidden and empty cells"
Choose what you want.

I found this by looking at xl2007's help for:
hidden cells chart

It was the top link.
