Default Excel Footers and Headers

Is there anyway to do one footer and header and have it apply to the entire
workbook. I have 70 sheets I'd like to add the filename, tab and date but
didn't want to have to go into all 70 worksheets to add. I've tried in print
view for the workbook but it only did the sheet it was viewing at the time.

Right-click on a sheet tab and "select all sheets"

Set up your header/footer on the active sheet and will be done to all sheets.

DO NOT FORGET to right-click and "ungroup sheets" when done.

What you do to one sheet will done to all and can lead to disaster if forgotten.

When multiple sheets are selected the word [Group] will appear next to the
filename on the title bar.

Try grouping your worksheets
Click on the first worksheet tab
and ctrl-click (or shift-click) to select more.

Then change the header/footer

Remember to ungroup the sheets when you're done.

Almost anything you do to one sheet in a group, you do to all.

rightclick on a tab|ungroup sheets is a quick way to ungroup.
rightclick on a tab|Select all sheets is a quick way to select all the sheets.
