Default Options should provide browse buttons under settings.

When setting preferences under the Excel Options, you should provide buttons
to browse for default folder locations. Specifically, under the Save
category, "AutoRecover file location" and "Default file location" should
provide something to help a person pick the folder they want to use (see
"Server drafts location" on this same tab). Also, under the Advanced
category, the "At startup, open all files in:" should also provide assistance.

I don't disagree per se, but the autosave location for instance is hidden so
you would not be able to navigate to it. It's no different to XL4-2003, but
that's no excuse I suppose, I just navigate and copy and paste from the
address bar.

FYI: If you want 2007 bugs filed you should include XL2007 or similar in the
subject line as I suspect MS will be monitoring these groups for subject
lines only...they certainly don't read all messages

Default Options should provide browse buttons under settings (XL2007).

I can see your point with the autosave path.

What about the "Here's where I want my documents stored by default" one? Mom
and Pop User aren't going to know what to enter here when help tells them to
change this value when they don't want their stuff going in the "My
Documents" folder.

Following through on the logic about the autosave location, shouldn't that
choice be moved to the Advanced tab then? That's where they stuffed the
startup folder location.
