Linking problems between two workbooks - Excel 2000 SP3
I have 3 users in my office who are having problems with Excel workbooks and
linking. They open one of the workbooks, and they click on 'yes' to updating the links message. However, they get a 'unable to read' error message and it never finds the link to file. I've researched this problem for a day now, and the only workaround is to first open the link to file, and then open the workbook that they work on. This seems to work for the time being. I've made sure that their Office is up to date, have cleaned their Temp folders, have checked for viruses, but still the problem persists. I'm leaning toward a possible corruption on the file or perhapes the link to file....Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, RA |
