Default Custom header

How do I apply a custom header or footer to multiple worksheets in an Excel
workbook? I'm in XP if that matters.

Default Custom header

Click on the first worksheet tab and ctrl click on the subsequent tabs.

Then do your page setup.

Remember to ungroup the sheets when you're done--if you make a change to a
worksheet that's grouped, you'll be changing the others in that group.

Just rightclick on one of the grouped worksheet tabs and select ungroup sheets.
