Default Acrobat

I am using Excel 2002 on an IBM Thinkpad R50 with XP SP2.
When I try to print a file as a .pdf excel crashes. I
upgraded to acrobat ver6. I've been all over adobe's
site looking for a solution to this but have had no luck.
I've uninstalled both office and acrobat and reinstalled.
I don't know what else to try.I'm hoping someone here can
help. TIA.
