XP Office Pro running on Windows XP - no updates.

Just recently started getting the following errors:

when opening Excel:
"Compile Error in Hidden Module: AutoExecNew"

when closing Excel:
"Compile Error in Hidden Module: DistMon"

Similar error messages pop up when opening/closing Word.

This may possibly be linked to installing Framework 1.1 two days ago.
However, I have now uninstalled Framework but the errors remain.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It points at PDFMaker.xla as being the culprit.
