Default Default measurement - Excel 2003

Does anyone know the procedure to change the default measurement scale in
Excel from Inches to Centimeters?

This would be a function of your operating system.

Assuming Windows OS you would go to Control PanelRegional and Language
SettingsRegional OptionsCustomize.

Measurement system can be changed there.

Note: this is global Windows setting and will affect all programs.
