I use Excel 2003. I have the default for fixed decimal points set to 2.
When I enter 2345, 23.45 displays. However, when I enter 2345. , I still get 23.45. What I want is 2345.00. What do I need to do to make this happen? Char |

Hi Cahr
Have you formatted the cells as Number, 2 fixed decimal points? Or have you just set the default on the Edit tab under Tools|Options to 2 fixed decimal points. If the latter, then entering 2345. will display as 2345. If the first, it will display as 2345.00. -- ve_2nd_at. Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa "Char" wrote: I use Excel 2003. xl2003 (IIRC) changed behavior (if you're used to earlier versions) Char wrote: I use Excel 2003. I have the default for fixed decimal points set to 2. When I enter 2345, 23.45 displays.
