![]() Is there an easy way I can freeze A column and the B column so they will not move when I move the screen over from left to right? Lets say I type in "Cubs" in cell A1. When I move the screen over it disappears. Any way I can make it stay there? Also, any way I can make column B stay too? Much thanks! |

Hi, Sorry but you cannot freeze column A and C and do not freeae column B What would you like to achieve an example will help maybe I can help with another way I can freeze A, A and B, but is there a way to freeze A and C and not B? I can't give an example really. One of my bosses came up to me last night and said she could freeze one column but not two. I told her I would look into it. I'm not sure she wants to freeze column A and C. I was just thinking it would be cool if I could go in there and show here how. |

You have already been told you cannot freeze A and C without freezing B.
You could hide B and freeze A to C Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 10 Sep 2009 13:40:06 -0400, "Von Fourche" wrote: "Eduardo" wrote in message ... Make sure A1 is visible (select it to make sure)
Now select B2. Then freeze the window Every row above the activecell and every column to the left of the activecell will be frozen. The only thing that is frozen is A1. |

Did you scroll down far enough to see that row 1 remained visible?
Did you scroll far enough to the right to see that column A remained visible? I've never seen a single cell be the only thing frozen. Von Fourche wrote: "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ... I've never seen a single cell be the only thing frozen. My mistake. It does work. I'm on a tight time schedule. It seems to work now. Thanks. |
