Default Excell has just "disappeared"

I have Windows XP Professional and my excel has just "disappeared" (winword
is still there). Is there anyway and I can retrieve it and reinstall it? (I
am in the process of moving and any disk that I may have been able to use is
in storage). My files are still there.

Your help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you didn't just lose a shortcut to excel.exe?

Try this:

Windows start button|run
type:
excel
and hit enter

If excel starts up, then you've lost your shortcut.

Search for excel.exe and rightclick on it and choose "send to|Desktop as
shortcut". Then move/copy that shortcut whereever you need it.

If you don't have excel.exe (the start|run stuff doesn't work), then you'll have
to find your Office CD to reinstall.
