Is there any way, other than a convoluted registry operation, to modify the MRU list on
the new task pane in xl'03 (File-New)?
(this is "new" to me as we upgraded from '97 to '03 and I have 2k at home).

While I'm not too enamoured with this change (having an extra click to the tabbed
directory box) it was ok for our users because they typically use the same template over
and over and is handy for them.
The problem arose when we changed a template and xl maintains the old, non-existent,
template on the list. I was looking for some way to delete it but cannot find anything in
Help and a Google indicates the aforementioned registry hack which I don't want to (and
can't) put in the hands of the users.

This is more of an annoyance than anything else.

A VBA routine perhaps?
