Jack

Need a better description of your problems.

What sort of problems?

Can't find the site?

MS won't let you download?

You get error message(s)?

No messages, just nothing happens and you finally quit trying?

Gord,
nothing happens after I execute the Add-Ins function ...the financial
formulas do not download... from the system disk or Internet.... I am not
sure of the source. Normally, they would be present when I hit the "fx"
button.... but only the standard formulas are present. this was from a new
version of Office 2003 pack, I have the same system software on my laptop,
with no problem.

Many thanks,
Jack

Have you looked in ToolsAdd-ins for an add-in to check?

Do you know the name of the Add-in?

I don't have any particular Financial Add-in that came with my Office 2003
Professional.

Gord,
There are Excel Financial Formulas which expand the set of formulas under
Add-Ins for the Financial formulas already provided. This is accomplished
via "Tools" ; "Add-Ins" when you then open the formulas sub window box via
the "fx" button... the new set of formulas appear. It works fine on my
laptop.... just not on my desktop. I do not understand what are the triggers
within the program that cause it to or not to download as an "Add-In".

Thanks,
Jack

I'm sorry but I can't help.

I do not know of a Financial Formulas Add-in for Excel that would have been
packaged with 2003 version.

Are you talking about the Analysis toolpak add-in? When you did the install on
your desktop did you do a custom install or a full install? If the add-in is
not available, you will need to put your Office disk in and install it
