I am just learning about formulas and need some help. I don't know if this
is possible or not. I have two worksheet tables in excel The first is a report that list employees & the columns a salaries, certification level, and # years employed. The salary in this chart is manually entered based on a salary scale. The salary scale is the other table. The x axis is Certification level and y axis is # years employed. I want excel to take the certification level & # years columns in the first worksheet and enter the salary from the salary scale chart. Thanks for any help DLE |

![]() It sounds like the simplest way to do this is to forget for a moment that you're working with charts. Just do your calculations, and put the results in their own column or row. Once you've got your calculations right, building the chart through the chart wizard is pretty easy. -- BruceP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BruceP's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33653 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=539681 |
