Default document recovery

I made the mistake of getting up from the computer without saving and my son
closed my workbook. Can I recover the workbook with the new items as I was
working on the document long enough for the auto recovery to save a few times?

There is about an hours worth of work i lost.

Thanks for any help.

Default document recovery

Go to Tools - Options - Save tab.

That will tell you where the autorecover save location is for your system.
If it's there, that's where you'll find it.
