I am trying to fill column in sequence stepping ten each time. Ex. a10, a20,
a30 If I put the sequence in the first two cells and extend down and click fill series it changes it to single sequence. Ex. a10,a11, a12. I have tried highlighting, clicking edit then fill series, column, growth, step value 10, stop value (range), ok, then tried the fill series again and it always goes back to single sequence. Help would be appreciated. |

Just enter the first 2 numbers of the sequence in the first 2 cells and then
select *both* cells. Click on the fill handle of the 2 cell *selection* and drag down as needed. When you release the mouse, the series is already filled in place. No other mouse action is required. -- HTH, RD ============================================== Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ============================================== "Wilsonzoo" wrote in message ... If I'm understanding you correctly....I would enter the first two cells the
way you want them a10, a20 and then highlight them both and while they are highlighted left click on the little box at the bottom right of the highlight and drag down as far as you want to go.
