Default inserting '0' into a excel cell

hi i trying to put a phone number into a cell in a excel workbook, the
number starts with 0191 ( the diling code) , the computer sees this as
a minus and drops the '0' for a '-'.
how can i include the '0' in the phone number?
thanks
