Im trying to sort in accending order colum B and i need the names in colum A
to sort also. |

![]() One way is to Highlight all data you want sorted in both columns. Click on Data then Sort. Set the sort order to Column B and select if you have a header or not and tell it to sort. This should do what you want. Yes that worked well,
But I need to keep the original data in its original order and on another sheet i need the same data in the sorted state. Any thoughts? Right-click the sheet tab Click 'Move or Copy'. Put a checkmark in 'Create a copy', click OK. You now have 2 identical sheets. Sort one of them, leave the other unsorted! Hope this helps.
