Default sort and del

after I sort colum (A) job numbers I end up with
job number that are the same but with a -E after the
job number the e stood for emergency but now it is a working job how can I
del all the rows that have the same job numbers but end with -E and keep the
ones that have no -E and also the ones that are still emergencys

250220 this one need to be kept on the list
250220-E this one needs del
250221-E this one need to be kept on the list
250222-E this one needs del
250222 this one need to be kept on the list
ect

Sounds like a data clean up job. In my opinion the Data AutoFilter is the
best tool. You can see how to use it as a data cleaning tool on
http://www.auditexcel.co.za/dataclean.html . Basically you would do a custom
search for -E and then delete what is filtered.
