Default sorting with excel


hello i have to do a coursework for school. i have a sample of around
700 students all with have been put in to catogories of gender what
year they are in and their height and weight.


is there a way that excel can randomly choose a 120 students from the
700?

How about adding another column.

Fill it with:
=rand()
and drag down.

Then sort by that column and take the top 120 entries.
